I thought that I was running just under 3 miles, but Gmap-pedometer tells me that it's just over 4 miles. Mostly because I totally underestimated how long the pier is.

We're back from vacation. We spent the last three nights at The Inn at Bay Harbor in Bay Harbor, MI. It was cold and it snowed almost the entire time, but it was fantastic. We got spa services, ate too much, drank too much, slept in like mad, stared out at the frozen Lake Michigan, and didn't worry about a thing. It was wonderful ( Read more... )

We're back from vacation. It was very relaxing.

We have our proposal reviewed by the historic commission tomorrow evening. If they say yes, we get to bring the 3rd floor up to code (which means we get a master suite). If they say no, well, then we get nothing and like it.

I'm anticipating a busy day of catching up at work tomorrow.mmm...

On Wednesday we took the day off and putzed around in the morning with Drew, then Seaves and I headed up to Traverse City when Drew's Grandma arrived for babysitting duties. It was an amazing couple of days, with almost too much to tell, but here's some of it, bullet-point style (and maybe some corresponding pictures):
