Long weekend over
Well, Saturday we worked on the house... unfortunately we just did not get that much done. It seems that none of us really had our hearts in it... except my uncle who spent a bunch of time putting up insulation... that is not to say everyone else was working, just not at full speed.
We have some insulation up. The kitchen electrical is out. We need to crawl in the attic and run new wires for the lights. We picked up some of the replacement ceiling fans and lights. We are going to be adding some switches to make things more logical... and extra wires to control the fan and light in the ceiling fans. The outside seems completely swiss cheese right now, but that will pass in time... it will be nice to have exterior outlets and tons of power available.
Today was my nephews baptism... the preacher dared us to try and avoid gods love by never going to church because he will love you anyway... so I will take that to heart and keep up my traditional plans of avoiding church. She also talked about how baptism is grafting them to the body of christ... which only made me think of a large monster made out of babies. Everything went well as can be expected... other than her sister saying "It is so annoying to clean someone else's house." which would make more sense if she was not living there... lazy lazy lazy. Hopefully she starts to give back a little for the free rent even though only one person in the entire house is actually working right now.
I just wish that I had he house tonight so I had windows on both sides so I can have a breeze without a fan going. It is nice out, but I might have to turn on the AC anyway.
