My ass = kicked
Well, Sunday kicked my ass. We finished up the bathroom floor, test fit the bathtub, and drilled most of the holes for the wires. The conduit from the meter to the new breaker box was installed and the wires run. 3 ott wire is impressive... and so large it is not even carried by home depot (though they carry the box, which is odd.). By the end of the day we were all worn out and dragged ourselves home. I unfortunately did not get much done around the apartment.
Most of the night was spent thinking about the house and what I need to get done... No real sleep to be had. Somehow even after your body gives out, you can not help but want to keep going...
Well, I did not do much today, but while I was at work about half the house got wired. The cutout for the bathtub drain was made, and the block to put the shower head on installed at my height... which is probably too tall for most people... but I think I will enjoy it. There is a hole in the front for the porch light to attach to without someone putting interior wire over the doorway on the outside. Everyone packed up about the time I got there... so I had dinner and then did a supply run so they can work on the house tomorrow. Unfortunately they are working on the street out front so I am not sure how people are going to get there... but it is our last chance for our electrical consultant to be out... so hopefully things go well.
Well, time to write bills... the debit card has not quite melted yet... so I guess I need to try harder. :)
