 I had a good day today.  I slept for ten hours straight last night, which is very unusual for me.  Usually I wake up after about 3 hours, read or do nothing for a couple hours, then go back to sleep.  So it was a wonderful feeling to wake up this morning and realize it was actually morning, and time to start my day.   I mailed a package for the bf ( Read more... )

Maybe it's because of the way my morning started.  I woke up at about 7 or 7:30 when the emergency alarm sounded on my floor.  I looked out the door to see what was going on, and saw the red light on over the apartment at the opposite end of the hall.  Fortunately, it was a false alarm; the woman who lives there had managed to pull the alarm cord ( Read more... )

 I'm feeling  rather contented this evening.  I went to concerts at Wyoming Seminary tonight and on Friday, and enjoyed both of them.  Friday, the wind ensemble did Johan de Meij's Lord of the Rings Symphony (no connection to the music in the movie) and I really enjoyed it.   I've always liked music written to tell a story (Pictures at an ( Read more... )
