Wellard looks... Well, 'prognosis good', even if it has only been a few days. Much better doctoring this time around, it can certainly be said.

When he is awake and focused, he has had The Scarlet Pimpernel to read, as a gift from Amy. When he has still not been thinking over quite a few other things.

Quite a few other things.

"Feeling better, lad?"

It's good to see, and so he smiles.

Wellard looks up, and gives Sharpe a nod. "I do think so, sir. Still rather seems the best not to move much."

"Probably, aye. Until the doctor says so."

He sits down next to the bed.

"... He's better than other doctors." Wellard will admit. (Though, compared to Clive, it is easy to be better.)

Tom has not met Wellard, but he's heard of his perilous brush with Blodwen. He takes a moment to stop by the infirmary to give the young man his regards.

"Good day. Are you well enough for visitation?"

"... Well enough, I've had other visitors." Wellard nods slowly, looking at Tom carefully.

He has a bit of reason to be a bit more careful around strangers, now- but rather justifiably so.

He does not step further into the room before letting the lad know who he is.

"I'm Tom Riddle, Lord Ostium of the House of Arch. I understand you were attacked by Blodwen Rowlands. I was, as well, around the turn of the year."

"... When she was doing something to Miss Mary, then disappeared?" He bites his lip, then nods slowly. "The Commodore said others had been, then."

A quiet moment, then another nod to Tom. "My name is Wellard, Henry Wellard." His lips twitch with a faint smile. "Formerly of His Majesty's Ship the Renown, late of the West Indies."

A blond head peeks into the Infirmary, looking decidedly unhappy.

"Wellard?"

He strides into the room, stopping just before the bed. "What the hell happened?"

"Jason." He blinks, looking up sheepishly.

"Ah... I got hurt." Short, simple, and technically, really true. And it does for an answer while he mentally tries to sort out where to start.

Jason shakes his head, looking even more displeased.

"Don't feed me a line, Wellard. They said you weren't feeling good enough to come to the bachelor party, but I thought you were trying to get out of it."

He pulls a chair over. The worry is evident through the stern look.
"What happened?"

Wellard frowns. "I would have gone." He quite does not have the idea of what that party all would have entailed, but just that they invited him? He would have gone.

(And probably would have keeled over from embarassment, but he would have been there!)

He sighs quietly. "Its... just rather a lot. I-" Wellard bites his lip, thinking. "There are... evil people here, and I didn't realize someone I knew was one of them."

"Hello, Mr. Wellard. How're you feeling?"

Yes, Wellard has been reading the book Amy gave him, when he can focus on it. He sets it down, giving her a faint smile as he looks up. "Better, perhaps. And yourself?"

"Well enough," she says. "Busy, and mostly with pleasant things. Am I interrupting anything?"

"Reading a bit, that is all. I'll have to see about getting my papers in here, later. ... Though I do think the ship building is going to be a bit delayed." Understandable, yes, but that still does not mean he has to be happy about it.

Even after a few days, Alessa gets a little mixed up about locations. Thus, there is a girl stepping out from behind a curtain, blinking in puzzlement.

She freezes nervously when she notices the new occupant.

He hardly looks any danger, particularly since Wellard's finding his eyes have decided to stop focusing enough to read the book. He looks up, and blinks.

"... hello?"

You'd think, but he's an adult (by a youngster's definition) and a boy.

"i'm sorry! i didn't mean to..."

She's not entirely sure what she's sorry for, but it's always been a safe bet.

Another blink, and he carefully shakes his head. "Its alright." Quietly.

"Are you here looking for someone?"
