Let's just not

Having time off makes it even easier to avoid doing things. So efficient at that.

I'm supposed to be writing about my feelings, but the Penguins traded for David Perron, who then rocked into CONSOL looking like a member of Depeche Mode (in the early nineties, not now. Kid's only 27). I'm thrilled.

"Anyway, here's Personal Jesus..."

Maybe now we can have a few weeks of Crosby and Malkin not playing with any bottom sixers. Knock on wood.

I'm gonna set some goals for myself here. Print out a chart where I can keep track of what I do every day is one. If I'm more aware of how I spend my time, I'll be better equipped to stop myself from wallowing or indulging negative whatnots, is the theory.

About a week ago I had a moment where I paused and thought, "Oh, wait, hang on... I'm feeling good. This is fun. I'm enjoing myself!" About ten minutes later, the Pens gave up a bunch of goals and lost the game, so that was it for the enjoying. But there was a moment. I'm supposed to record those moments. Anyway, I was watching hockey and knitting and drinking tea. Winning combo. Recipe for success. Unless the team loses.

hockey, therapy?
