Finito!
I have finally finished my batch of cupcakes! Last night I finished decorating, and hot glueing the pegs onto them! I am glad it's over, as fun as it is making them, the craft glue I use to glue the toppings and sprinkles on is quite stiff, it's not very squeezy, so my thumb has gone numb and I have yet to regain all feeling in it XD There's just pins and needles in it at the moment, but I am slowly regaining feeling. Lol, I may have to transfer the glue to a more squeezeable bottle, or find another way somehow. Plus, being the clumsy person that I am, I tend to also burn my hands a bit (really really slightly, but it's hot!) with the hot glue from the glue gun T-T not smart of me I know. Anyway, pictures!
It's just so pleasing to see them all lined up and completed, let's just hope they sell...
I used lemon and orange slices for toppings for my yellow cupcakes, and orange, yellow and white gem sprinkles. For the chocolate cupcakes, I used a chocolate and cream love heart toppings, and teddy bear faces toppings. Along with purple and white gem sprinkles - I don't have any brown gems, but purple suits - reminds me of cadbury chocolate wrappers ^_^ And for the white cupcakes, or vanilla cupcakes, I used apple and butterfly slices as toppings, and gold and silver gem sprinkles!

I am pleased by how they all turned out, and I may make more, but since Wai-con is coming so soon, I need to finish making all of the hats first, and a couple more phone charms before considering making more cupcakes. Besides, I would need to order more icing, especially the pink one, since the referral gift pink icing is mostly used up, I have no more to make more strawberry cupcakes, heh.
Speaking of supplies, yesterday I went a little insane and bought a lot more fleece, I got almost every colour except the dark brown and light brown fleece :( The batch I have before is only really enough to make maybe 6 to 10 hats for each design, and if I mean to make 20, I would need more fleece, and since I was worried that Textile Traders would run out, I bought in bulk ... lol.
EDIT: I'll be going to Spotlight today to get the dark brown fleece though! Also, happily, I've had a a few friends ask me about the things I'm making, like the rabbit hat, fortune cookie charm and now the strawberry cupcake holder, and if I have them up on etsy to buy. I will have to see if I will be able to make them some to sell to them, but argh, so busy! But it's good to know that some people like them!
