(no subject)
A real update from the last post. Job told me that I had to be working in that position for six months before I could move onto sometime that didn't suck. I wasn't willing to be there for that long so I put in my notice. My last day was Friday and it feels really good to be free of that horrible department. I'll miss all of my great coworkers from my former department though - fortunately I have email addresses for the really awesome ones.
Since I have the time off of work I decided to take a month off for me and to help recharge from that. My finances can afford it so I purchased a 30 day rail pass through amtrak. First leg of the trip is to Seattle and the last leg is Texas and hoping to swing through Denver along the way. Nothing is completely solid yet but I'm kind of liking that for this trip.
I'm taking off tonight at 11pm and plan to be home for a couple of days in the middle of the month for cuddles and laundry. The suitcase is rather full because I only want to take one with (even though I'm allowed to take more) because I have to bus around cities once I get there and don't want the hassle of more.
