Wine Review

Santa Cristina 2006 Toscana Sangiovese. Had this back on the same evening that I had the Chianti but haven't taken the time to write about it. This one was very bright, crisp and almost sparkling in a way without being actually bubbly. In the front of the tongue as compared to the Chianti which was in the back of the tongue. It was a sudden change from the Chianti but very delightful. I very much enjoyed this style of wine. I have another Sangiovese in the cabinet by a different vineyard waiting for me.

Bootleg Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2004 by Tiziano Bittazzi of Tenuta Setten. I still don't like white wines. I figured I hadn't tried this style so I gave it a whirl and am not really surprised by the results.
