It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Cold
It's cold! I woke up at 7 this morning to find it was 48 degrees out there. That's cold for this sunny Floridian girl. I busted out my electric heater so fast, but I'm rather disappointed with it. It's too small. So I'm going down to Yamada denki later to pick myself up a bigger heater with a few more than two settings. I think I'll also buy a heated fan. I need ambient noise while I sleep and I think a heated fan will do the trick. Besides, any excuse to go to Yamada Denki is fine with me.
Today I'm headed over to Monica's house! I'm excited for my first visit to another ALT's place. She has an oven, so I'm going to see if it's possible to make lasagna or some kind of casserole that I can eat for several days.
I also want cookies.
My Lloyds TSP info came yesterday, but I wasn't home so they took it back to the post office. >.< It's so frustrating how they do that. Anyway, Lloyds is the company pretty much all JETs use to send money overseas. It's really fast (money is in your account the next day) and they only take 2,000 yen no matter how big your transfer is. I really need to send some money to my account in the states so I can order some winter clothes! Hopefully I can get my info soon because being without a jacket here is kind of scary. I wonder if I can just take this slip down to the post office and pick it up. I have a few packages to send out anyway. I'll ask Monica. Maybe she'll know.
Well, one more episode of Supernatural before I'm all caught up. Noooooo...
How long can I keep from watching it? Hopefully until after breakfast.

Edit: I watched the last episode while eating breakfast. And now I'm sad.
