Last day of school
So, N is no longer a kindergartener! Her fever broke late last night, so she was feeling fine this morning, but I still couldn't let her participate in field day. We did go to Mass and the award ceremony, so she got her student of the month award and pin. She was so proud of herself! Then she was in the all school picture and I dropped off what I agreed to bring to the parent coffee. Then we had to go. Now the kids are fine, but I have a really nice headache and I have to take both kids to the store since I had no intention when I went shopping last time of feeding any of us lunch today.
So, kids get to watch Sid the Science Kid while I will away this headache (with the help of coffee and a pillow) then it is off to the tiny cart store and we can have a late lunch.
then, it is summer vacation!
Edit: And, J has the car keys, so I get to scrounge around the pantry and come up with a quite creative lunch. Beans and peanut butter go together, right?
