(no subject)
Sigh. This is the last week of school and while the first part of the week went well (school wise) today I had to get N early because she has a fever. Which also means she misses tomorrow. I am hoping she can go to field day on Friday especially since she is getting student of the month award for her class after Mass that day.
In silly grown up world, I am still trying to figure out window coverings for the house. The bedrooms are fine in that we have curtains, but blinds would be nice as well, just not necessary. Blinds or something in the family room are necessary for our comfort. We saw people from the sidewalk peeking through the trees at us the other day. We were being very boring, I was watching tv and Jeff was walking, but he did get to wave at the curious couple. It was a little disconcerting for us. The trees in the back do give the illusion of privacy even though with lights on at night everything inside can be seen.
So, we were on a mission to get blinds.
Now, what to get? I have had 3 companies (2 that sell Hunter Douglas and Empire)come out and we've been to JC Penny. Turns out Empire is the most costly of the 4, which shocked me. I thought it would be closer to JCP pricing, but it wasn't. of course, we have oddly showed windows, so for blinds to fit, we need to do custom sizes.
I have no idea what to get and it is beginning to stress me out. I think know what I want, but I can't get the quality I want for the price I want, so now to re-evaluate. Sigh.
