(no subject)
So, we closed on the house on Friday. It went smoothly (thankfully, after everything that happened with that in the last 6 weeks!). The movers came Sunday and we are settling in to the new house. There is still about one more car load at the old house, but Jeff can get that when he gets back in town. He left Monday morning and I have not made the progress I had hoped to make before he got back, but then again I have spent a lot of time at the old house moving the rest of the stuff and starting to clean.
Just to add another stress, Nora is sick with a stomach bug. 1/2 of the kindergarten class was out last week with it but it passed her by and we thought we were in the clear. However, she went to a friend's house who had it last week 2 days ago and was up all last night. Let's cross our fingers that no one else gets it!
For a quick break from moving stuff, we made an Easter tree yesterday. I have a bunch of Easter ornaments and I bought some branches with LED flower lights from Hobby Lobby. It is really cute and the kids had fun decorating it.
