The house I am moving out of is finally on the market. I know it will only be a week before I move out, and I won't be dealing with this for long, but showings are such a pain. We have 2 today and 1 so far tomorrow. I spent the whole day running around, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and moving boxes to a get the appearance of more order. And still, the house is not going to show well. For one, the decor is really, really dated and won't appeal to most people. And, there are boxes, no pictures, and all sorts of other moving related issues. On top of that, I have one of N's friends over for dinner tonight and 3 little kids do not make for a peaceful showing.
