I really feel for you. As I said to Cori at least I'm in another country and they're not coming here and I'm annoyed about that but you're in the same country as them and they're not coming anywhere near you again. :( You poor thing. Maybe after Kate has the baby they'll do more? But then Nikki will be ready to pop then too. *sigh* Stupid boys. :s

Thanks.

I've calmed down considerably now. I posted that right after finding out and it was... well, it was PMS fueled. lol

I just do not understand what they have against the Pacific Northwest.

And I would hope that there would be more US dates after Zac's little one is born and he's had a very good amount of time with them. But, like you said, Ike's gonna be a dad again soon after that.

And there have already been over 60 US tour dates. They promised the fans all over the world they'd get to them as well. You guys deserve a little love, too!

It just seems like they're going to the same states they went to last year, or at least cities and states very close to those they already went to. Apparently Wisconsin gets FOUR dates. And Washington gets ZERO.

I don't get it. :( They skipped us on the Underneath tour and the Live and Electric tour. I hope they don't skip us on The Walk tour.

Haha. But I can't totally understand your frustration. I think a lot of people are feeling the same way as you.

Yeah we deserve love too but I feel more for you. I don't know why? Maybe because at the moment if they were to announce a tour here I would be devestated because I'm in the middle of so much shit here and I have no money so even a ticket to a gig here would set me back. I guess I'm being a little slefish in being glad there's no tour here yet.

I didn't know that they skipped you on the Underneath and L&E tours aswell? OMG even we got those, and we got a decent amount of them. Now I really feel for you! When was the last time you saw them?

It's not selfish. I totally understand that.

I haven't seen the guys live since the Albertane Tour. I was living in the UK back then and they came to London. They skipped the UK on the This Time Around Tour, so I didn't get to see them then. And then I moved to the USA and I missed them on the Underneath Acoustic Tour because I was oblivious that they were coming to Seattle. :$ And they haven't been back to Seattle since (2003). I totally don't understand why. We're a major city, we have a HUGE music scene... it makes no sense. Some fan told me that when she asked them about it they told her "it's difficult" but didn't elaborate on why.

If I could afford to fly to another state to see them, I would. But I can't. :( I'm SO jealous of all these fans who are like "oh, I can drive to these six shows and then I'll fly to these five."

It's like... do you not have a job/responsibilities/things that require your money? lol How do they do it?!

Gosh, so you haven't seen them in a long long time. You poor thing. :( Yeah I would've thought that they'd jump at the chance to go to Seattle. I mean I'm in Australia and even I know how big the music scene is there! I don't understand how it would be "difficult" to go there? For goodness sake, they went to bloody Penrith! How could they go there and not Seattle? Geeze.

If I could afford to fly to another state to see them, I would. But I can't. :( I'm SO jealous of all these fans who are like "oh, I can drive to these six shows and then I'll fly to these five."

*hides* ;)

Haha. You don't count. They don't live in your country and play dozens a shows all over the place every year. You have to get as much of them as you can while they're around.

Someone over at hanson.net on the forums is saying "They go where they are told to go by their tour routers and promoters and where they'd be successful. Not saying they wouldn't be successful in other areas, but from what I understand artists usually aren't the ones that pick the places they go to."Apparently their tour routers and promoters have a map of the USA that doesn't include the entire west side of the country! I refuse to believe that there are no locations in the Northwest where they would have been able to play a successful show at some point in the last 4 years. All the Northwest fans seem so resigned to this, like "oh, yeah, they skipped us again, knew that was gonna happen". I don't wanna be that hopeless! lol ( ... )

I usually do both Melbourne and Sydney every time they come and sometimes they do weird places like Penrith which I did aswell because it was so cheap. I was going to do Brisbane too but I ran out of money ( ... )

I guess for some people they really make sure that they can get the time off to virtually tour with the band. And they save and save and save to make sure it happens. My friend went to America last tour and went to every single gig! And no I do not know how much she spent?!! And there's just so much organisation that goes into doing it. I mean I love it, but it takes a lot out of you.
