Haha. You don't count. They don't live in your country and play dozens a shows all over the place every year. You have to get as much of them as you can while they're around.

Someone over at hanson.net on the forums is saying "They go where they are told to go by their tour routers and promoters and where they'd be successful. Not saying they wouldn't be successful in other areas, but from what I understand artists usually aren't the ones that pick the places they go to."

Apparently their tour routers and promoters have a map of the USA that doesn't include the entire west side of the country! I refuse to believe that there are no locations in the Northwest where they would have been able to play a successful show at some point in the last 4 years. All the Northwest fans seem so resigned to this, like "oh, yeah, they skipped us again, knew that was gonna happen". I don't wanna be that hopeless! lol

Anyway... nothing I can do about it. Not like Hanson's gonna come to Seattle just to make me happy.

You mentioned that you'd met them a few times. How did that happen? Was it like a signing or a meet and greet at a show? Are they nice? :)

I usually do both Melbourne and Sydney every time they come and sometimes they do weird places like Penrith which I did aswell because it was so cheap. I was going to do Brisbane too but I ran out of money.

Hmm while it sounds about right [in regards to the tour promoters telling the guys where to play] I think that after SETB, I would think that Hanson know best and Hanson play where they want to play. I mean I'm sure they'd get told, "well your ticket sales are best in these such places", but if Hanson wanted to play other areas, then I'm sure they'd go ahead and try and make that happen.

I just think you can never know what they're going to do. They seem to pop things up at the last minute and maybe that'll happen this time?

Yup I've met them a few times. First time was a M&G here in Melbourne. That was great. You know it's just that my friends and I had been fans for sooo long and it was nice to finally be able to meet them. I've met lots and lots and lots of famous people over the years so I have a high expectation of people and sometimes they don't live up to it, and sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. :) And Hanson have never failed me. The M&G was pretty quick but it was still pretty good. We were almost at the end of the line as we wanted to spend more time with the guys [you know that extra 30 seconds counts - haha]. They were just lovely. Funny story is that it was at the HiFi Bar in town and all the fans were told to wait upstairs in the bar and when called we had to go downstairs to the stage and get our photo taken. Well "downstairs" was literally down 40 stairs or so and they were so steep that Alana, Lou, Kel and I were all doing the same thing: gripping onto the banister and thinking in our heads "Don't fall down, don't fall down!" and even Ike commented on how serious we looked when we came down the stairs! :p

Another time I met them was at Channel V music TV show taping in Sydney, which was brilliant as it was about 5-6 hours long and Alana, Candy and I were in the front row right in front of the guys. It was just one of those great days when the guys were in a great mood and being silly and funny. It was nice to "hang out" with them for such a long time. :) They did a taping of the show and an interview and inbetween came over and talked to us and signed stuff.

The other times I've met them have been after shows out the back of the venue where we've all talked and gotten stuff signed. For some reason I always get Taylor to talk for ages when he gets to me, which is nice. Last time we had a good old chat about Elvis! Haha. The after gig meets are the best in Melbourne as we're really laid back here and we don't take too well to the bitchy Sydney fansons, so they know not to act up here. :p I think that's why Hanson hang out here a lot longer than in other cities.

You asked if they're nice? Look everyone has their own opinions of what they're like but I can safely say that I have never had a bad experience with them. The only minor thing I would say is that one time at the Palais [here in Melbourne], Ike was a little bored with the after gig meet and didn't want to do it. Later we heard that he was actually sick so I forgive him. Tay and Zac came out and signed but Ike went straight to the van. Some of the crappy Sydney girls were screaming at him until Lou and I told them to shut the ---- up! So I asked Taylor if he could nicely ask Ike if he was able to come and say hi to us but if he wasn't up to it then we'd be fine with that. I still remember Taylor looking at Lou and I like we were the NICEST FANSONS EVER! :) And in the end Ike did come over and sign a few things but did it really quickly and then went back to the van.

So yeah I've never had anything bad to say about them and quite honestly I can understand how sometimes it can get a little bit much for them. I mean us fans are all pretty full on!
