it's a beautiful day outside today, if it weren't for the beautiful orange leaves i would have thought it were april, not november.
life has been a crazy roller coaster of up and down emotions lately. i know where i am but i don't know where i'm going in both my personal and academic life. thank goodness for the love of a wonderful man and the friendship of wonderful friends.
i've been up to quite a bit of writing lately, most notably a story unlike anything else i've written before. there's nothing supernatural or historical- in fact, much of it is based on people i know and situations i've been in or witnessed. it's very heavily inspired by no frills, actually, as there are so many good characters and one-liners and stories that come out of that place. it'd be ironic, i think, if i were to publish a story about a job that paid me minimum wage...making more money from the story itself than the company ever paid me. if any of you are interested in reading my progress, just let me know, i'd love the feedback.
booking off the third weekend in november, i think- anyone who wants to party/hang out that weekend, let me know.
