Birthday stuff, visits and hair!
So, I decided not to dread my hair. Its just not a good idea while im still doing ballet professionally, but I WILL be altering my hair. Im doing to dye it all back to the bright red (as seen in profile avatar) then have my friend perm wrap a few sections of my hair with black cording. Will look a tad like this:
Though, the 3 he has on the top of his head will actually be on the side of my head, not the top. I think it will look cool with bright red hair and black cord wrapping. I may also have my friend do a few sections underneath my hair and tie a few very small bells into the cording. Not sure if I will have her tie in some longer sections, that way when my hair is down, there will be longer pieces of black cording and whatever else i tie into my hair hanging out from the hair. I think it will look cool!
I have a very fun month coming up. My cousin is coming in on the 8th, friend michelle on the 17th, friend cat on the 20th, Angela on the 21st as well as my uncle on the 21st or 22nd. All will eventually be staying at my house for a period of time. WOOHOO! Its times like these that I adore having a 5 bedroom home. Its a bitch to keep clean, but its really cool when guest stay over.
Anyway, since all these people will be coming in, johns actually allowing me to throw a party on the 21st! Yay! Were going to set up the DJ equip outside, Michelle, Amie, Midget and I will be spinning fire, its just going to be awesome! I cant wait, even if I did end up losing my Job, at least I will have a fun month to keep me distracted.
Have a few other things this month as well though. Class registration is on aug. 15th and class starts on aug. 18th. So I get the joy of juggling all of this while attending class and possibly work.
Go me, for I am super woman.
I turned 23 on july 30th. God I feel old. Though, I get some pretty cool gifts this year. Getting a tattoo done over my right hip bone which reads in kanji: Voices of A Distant Star. The kanji will look like this: ほしのこえ (and I did get it checked, so I know its accurate) and I will probably get some japanese shaded clouds around it. and a bit of circuitry. Will look cool, already have the concept drawn up. John is also buying me a pair of BearClaw fire fans. This is a big gift since they are 210$ plus shipping AND i'm having him do rush delivery. I want to be able to use them at my party. They do collapse, so there is only so much I can do with them, but I have always wanted a collapsing pair for my first pair. If i can get him to do it, I may also order the fixed steel Khaos fire fans (only 50$ for a single fan...cheap!!) and those look like they would be fun to flip and spin.
