OK, yes, it was a terrific Heath Ledger performance, with solid work by Bale, Eckhart, Caine, Freeman, Gyllenhaal, Oldman, et al., but no one seems to be commenting on the movie's single greatest casting triumph.
I refer of course to the choice of actor to play
the mayor of Gotham City.
And why, you ask, is it such a coup to get Nestor Carbonell?
