sight & sound
The week before I moved, I got myself an eye appointment at the place in HP that I've gone to since I was a kid. It had been over two years since I had been in, and sure enough, my prescription had changed. My eyes just keep getting worse, oy.
But the reason I mention it is because I got new frames. I had gotten annoyed with the ones I've had, because they sat a little too close, and I was constantly having to clean them, because my eyelashes brushed against them all the time. That, and I was just feeling like it was time for something different. And so...
Voila! I had forgotten how nice it is to have glasses that are frameless on the bottom. It makes my field of vision seem so much larger.

Classes have been going well. I'm pretty happy with all of the professors, and so far, there haven't been any students in any of my classes who are blatantly, nonstop annoying. *knocks on wood* LOL
I still have a fair amount of unpacking to do at my apartment. The kitchen/dining area is cleaned up, and I have most of my books unpacked, but I still have some sorting left to do with those, and then there are a number of other boxes of things I still need to deal with for the living room area. And I still have a fair amount of my clothes to get sorted out and either hung up in the closet or put into the drawers of the dresser. I'm hoping I can make a pretty significant dent in most of all this over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the furballs have clearly made any adjustments necessary to the new place, and are acting like their normal, lazy selves again. See picture below for an example.

Going out tonight. Meeting up with Ori at her favorite bar to celebrate her last day at the theater company she's been at for the last few years. :) Hope you're all doing well!
