a work in progress & two dinners

Am having Oriana over tonight and making tomato basil macaroni with cheddar cheese for dinner.
And I have at least one awesome neighbor in my building. I met her the other night briefly while she was out walking another neighbor's dog - a girl named Elizabeth who lives on the third floor opposite the apartment directly over me. She knocked on my door yesterday evening and invited me to a group dinner on Friday, over at another tenant's apartment in the other wing of the building (it's a courtyard building); she had mentioned the other night that a bunch of the people here get together regularly. She told me just to pop on up to her place Friday evening and we'd walk over together. She seems like a real sweetheart, in general, and I'm really happy that she invited me to come along.
One last picture that I'm sure y'all will be amused by, and then I'm off to my Politics of Poverty in Developing Nations class. How's that for a downer? ;)
