First things first: As it is already past midnight in Montreal, and it's just ten minutes to midnight here in Chitown, I am very happy to wish an incredibly awesome and fantastic HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my bestest friends evar,
tiny_dancer ! Happy 22, Lisa! :D I hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow and when you celebrate on Friday. I wish I could be there in person, but I'm there in spirit. ;D

Tea Time: So it's finally starting to really cool down here in Chicago. Just last week, it was still in the high 70's every day. But this week, it's been down into the 60's during the day and then into the 50's at night. Yesterday was the first time I actually didn't want my living room window open since I moved in.
But I am actually quite happy about this, and I'll show you why.
It's tea time, bitches! :D :D :D :D My tea collection officially takes up practically an entire table, hahaha. Also, yay for orchard fresh apples, and delicious oatmeal raisin cookies.
Also, I took some pictures of some of the progress I've made in the living room area.
CDs and DVDs have finally been unpacked. O hai, Nutmeg!
Making small spaces useful, brought to you by narrow shelving units from IKEA.
I decided to use a couple of the shelves for decorative stuffs. Also, this just reminds me that I need to complete my collection of West Wing seasons.
The paperweight that's sitting on top of the shorter DVD tower. It belonged to my Grams originally.
The current state of the built-in shelves.
My aunt Joyce painted the top of that box; she gave everyone in the family boxes with painted tops for Christmas one year, and this was mine. It's filled with seashells, like the paperweight next to it. :)
My Grams and Grandad got this in Hawaii when they went there for their 50th wedding anniversary. It's carved out of ebony wood, and it's always been one of my favorite random things that my Grams had at her house.
Hope everyone is doing well lately. :)
