  So I'm not exactly sure what to tag this one but I just had to share it.

Tonight our realm had a Role Playing Summit/Meeting for the Horde's role playing guilds.Now my guild has been around for a long time, we've been role playing on this realm for a long time and we're some what respected as the oldest role playing guild on the realm.

It was a pretty glorious travesty. There were just stunning piles of pre-posted fail everywhere, including the infamous half-banshee ranger-thing, the still-living belf DK who had a baby, had it magically aged, and is the one to RP it, along with the usual cavalcade of fail that I'm too lazy to dig out past WCS links of. Once everyone (minus those with some semblance of self-respect) marched up and puffed out their chests going "WE ARE TEH HORED 'N WE 'R GONNA FITE DIS UH... WHATEVER IT IS". another bloke Blinked forward and started a glorious, glorious argument.

Why? Because at least 85% of the guilds present were mercenary guilds or full of anti-heroes and trouble makers and instigators. The shit hit the fan in a beautiful fashion, with the Still Living Baby Momma DK screaming at the top of her lungs about how Garrosh will bring the Horde to ruin and he'll DESTROY US ALL. After a ten minute break of absolutely nothing

I now have this odd urge of starting a Horde Teabag Party on an RP Server and being all full of anti-Garrosh marches and all.

Maybe call it the "Kawphi Philter Party".

"Garrosh will DESTROY US ALL! Wake up and smell the kawphi!"

There's so much wrong with that sentence it's hard to make any other kind of joke other than pointing, laughing, and getting angry. Like, her having to hold an enormous grudge for a good 7 years for little reason. :/

Troll shaman chick is yet another alt of someone who has been featured on WCS on at least 3 or 4 of her characters. I started looking them up, but the fail was too much. In any case, she's a former guildmate, caused a lot of IC and OOC drama in guild, we weren't sad to see her go, and told her "snowball's chance in Hell" when she tried to come back. Her drama-bombing of the meeting was just par for the course.

If the meeting did ANY good, it was that it gathered so many sailors on the HMS Failboat together in one spot so my on-again/off-again RPing guildies could see for themselves who to /ignore in one fell swoop so they could feel comfortable RPing openly again.

Then we had a nice little guild RP session down in Bloodhoof Village, so things ended on a good note for us.

I honestly do think I was happier this day to not have an active WoW account than I ever will be ever.

You know I'm all for IC dislike of Garrosh (on a sane level) for his wanton douche baggery but do we really have to make up shit about him killing the missing princess of the Bloodhoof tribe?

Is it even in Garrosh's character to murder any Hordeling? His duel with Cairne was a pretty rare occurrence and even then it wasn't a coldblooded murder.

There's also the YOU ARE DISMISSED! questline. He does not like random killing of Horde folk.

I've noticed what a lot of people are missing is that the whole "AMG GARROSH KILLED CAIRNE" thing was that it was an agreed-upon duel to the death. Cairne knew what he was getting into, Garrosh knew what he was getting into, and it was Magatha's interference that altered the outcome of the battle.

When Magatha enacts her coup against TB and snatches it up, she has the balls to write to Garrosh for help in The Shattering. Garrosh basically says "eff you dude, you stole my kill and I hope you die".

OOC, yeah, it's basically Blizzard going "aaaand that's how you guys wind up with Garrosh as Warchief, because Vol'jin is narrowing his eyes and raging at him from a distance, Lor'Themar and Sylvanas have their own issues, and Cairne is dead, so lol, you're stuck with him". IC it's a prime example of our characters never knowing if we would have HAD Garrosh as Warchief, or if Magatha hadn't gotten involved, would Cairne have smacked him around and been the new GM of ?

After all the talk about being so vehemently anti-Garrosh, I'm wondering do people casually forget about the Horde oath and all?

I give my flesh and blood freely to the Warchief. I am the instrument of my Warchief's desire. I am a weapon of my Warchief's command.

Even if he's a gigantic douche-canoe, he's the Warchief now, people. And if he hears you spewing crap about him, he's likely to cut your head off D: I'm not saying you have to like him, but if that summit was anything like the crap I hear when I'm wandering around Orgrimmar... ffs.

Its one thing that was pointed out in The Shattering. Thrall chose Garrosh for the Warchief becuse he felt that Garrosh would be the best choice for the role for the entire Horde. And regardless of if he's a toolbag or not, he's still their leader.

Last I heard, the Horde wasn't a democracy.

Plus from someone that doesn't remember/look into what dumb crap Garrosh has did exactly, it looks to me like taking ooc opinions ic 'cause it happens to be the popular opinion and people wouldn't like the reverse.

Exactly. Garrosh is very hardcore Horde. Thrall even selected him because he's crazy popular with the Horde. All this Garrosh intense dislike is mostly OOC crossover.
