Meeting with the minister today went VERY well. he and I are going together give a presentation to the combined sunday school classes of youth & junior high. I have to prepare a short speech and a resources list to hand out, and be prepared to participate in and possibly lead a round-table discussion. Was the worst night of my life.  But today was a pretty good day.

Chris had to work over the weekend, so she got today as a comp day.  I took a vacation day and we drove to Maryland... picked up her mother in Baltimore then drove to the Eastern Shore, took the ferry to Saint Michaels and then drove back to Kent and had a nice dinner at Harris' ( Read more... )

I walked through a crowd of a couple dozen little bouncy brown twitter birds and one pigeon playing in the hedge behind the bus stop.

 Last night we went to see For The Bible Tells Me So, a movie which is making the rounds here at various churches and theaters.  The writer/director is local to this area and he personally is showing it and doing Q & A sessions after.  So last night we went to the showing at the Allen Theater in Annville.
