"Inbound for 17L, Austin Approach"
Well I just finished packing for Camporee this weekend. I'm really looking foward to makin sure some Scouts know their Flag Code.
Tonight we recruited at the Ninth Grade Center, and a Scout buddy of mine signed up, along with two females and a young guy who seemed like he could be really sharp. He wants to be a pilot. They all wanna be pilots...
My mom got me a couple of really cool shirts from some Goodwill. One has a drawing by a G.I. and it says Operation: Enduring Freedom, the other is an Army PT shirt.
Armed Drill went great today, except for rifle stole like four of my guys. We started learning exhibition drill and will continue tomorrow.
I've decided it's really crazy feeling when you walk into a public place and everyone stares at you becaused you look no older than 18 in a military uniform. Its a weird but proud feeling.
