Remember The Alamo, Remember Goliad!

Happy Texian Independence Day! I haven't posted in over month and the reason is definitely because my life is extremely hectic right now.

On the positive side, The Eagle Company Armed Drill Team has improved greatly, with twelve members regularly attending each meeting and a routine already developed for the required Military Inspection performance on 31 March. This weekend is Tomahawk District Camporee at which I will be running a competition involving U.S. Flag Code, but some of the people (one in particular) who were gonna make Camporee SUPER fun won't be attending, so a little disappointment there. I think I'm becoming a bit more 'literate' (see previous entry) in reading women...or womAN. *Actually that's one of those things men think they know how to do, but in all reality haven't the slightest idea what they're doing.* Apparently the Chief of Naval Operations for the U.S. (highest ranking Naval officer in the country) will be at a Navy League dinner in the near future, and I'm counting on being there.

On the negative side, It isn't looking too bright for my oppurtunity for Aviation II, mainly because I have been a colossal fool thus far in
my High School career thus far. To put it bluntly, I was born without the mental tools necessary for Mathmatic Comprehension. I will have to take either night school, correspondence, or a class period or two of further mathmatic instruction because of my ignorant past. This, in a worst-case scenario, could prove to be crippling to my graduation if I am not extremely careful. I miss the sport of baseball with the same desperation a lover experiences in seperation from his counterpart. If possible, I think I am going to try out for the High School team (after some extreme conditioning of course).

I am going to do my best to update at least every other day from now on, so look foward to it masses of people who read this page everyday.

If only I could be a Hero of Hyrule.

§Mike
