Keeps vigil as Karev pounds the stairs. A desperate attempt at escape and evade that fools no one but himself.
Still can't stop the words from biting... “Should've let you bleed out...”
Watches his mask slip, if only for seconds.
Waits for the inevitable breaking point and prepares himself to clean up the shards of whatever still remains.
