Per Mike's Request...
Well, life has been extremely busy and I've only got a breath to update in as it is.
Kirsten came down and visited for a week and I was here for less than half due to work. But I had a wonderful time and we managed to make a few incriminating pictures. Lilia accompanied us for the trouble making. There was way too much giggling and having a blast and all of us ended the week with a six pack of abs. I miss her.
After that Alicia and Brian came to visit Lily and stayed at my place. Again I missed most of it but I did get to know them a little better and I'm still as impressed by them. Brian's music skills blow my mind and it is difficult remembering his initial clumsy attempts. Sitting out at the cliffs enjoying the air, the ocean and the incredible music is something that still rises in my thoughts every day.
I went to Eric's house for Easter and met his parents and siblings. I enjoyed them all very much. I really hit it off with his mom and his dad is a big goof. The food was spectacular and spending time with Eric in a place where he was comfortable and familiar was a treat.
Eric and I are doing great. I still have my initial hesitations but I do believe I have learned and still have things to learn from this relationship. I'm thoroughly enjoying the interest we share. We went to the zoo last week and spent all day there getting excited about the babies and what was coming next. Tonight we're going out diving. It's exciting. In a few weeks we'll be heading up to the Ranch for a week. I'm restless to be there.
I have missed at least two of Mike's shows and I am very disappointed. Tomorrow I close as well. Boo.
Work is going to pick up, especially at the end of May. I'm starting my crazy summer early but I've spent about $1,200 on scuba stuff recently so the money I'll be making is needed. I'm committed to at least getting my Dive Master cert. I enjoy it so much that it would be worth the free boat trips alone, not to mention getting paid to do what I love. Also there are so few experienced divers that everyone wants female instructors. To not take the class and invest in the gear would leave me without one more opportunity.
