Jason flops down next to Michael on the couch, and yawns. "Morning, Mikey."

"Morning." Michael gives him a small smile, looking at him for a moment before returning his attention to the news program that he's watching on the tv.

"What's the plan for today?", Jason mumbles, obviously not yet fully awake.

The Aussie shrugs, keeping his eyes on the screen, "Picking our songs, I guess. Learning them, and stuff."

"Oh." He looks up as David comes into the room, sprawling out across the chair just over from the couch. "Birth year, right?"

Michael nods, "Mmhmm."

"Any idea what you're gonna do?"

Michael's eye twitches very slightly, Jason seems quite intent on not letting him watch the news. David notices, and stifles a laugh. "Something by Queen, probably. I'm sure there's a few options in my year."

"You're so old, Mikey," Jason replies, laughing softly, and Michael grabs a pillow off the couch and smacks him playfully with it. "Owww," Jason pouts, "David, Michael hit me with a pillow."

David is trying very hard not to laugh, and he's sure that both of his roommates can see it on his face. "Well you did call him old."

Jason just crosses his arms. "Well he is. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing."

"At least I'm not a kid, you under aged twat." Michael jokes, and David can't hold it in anymore, so he bursts into a fit of laughter, which sets Michael off, as well.

Jason frowns, "SIX DAYS, okay?" He hates that everyone keeps calling him a kid. The only kid around here is Archuletta, and maybe Ramiele.

"Yeah, yeah. We know," Michael manages between giggles.

"Speaking of which, you guys had better be taking me out somewhere for my birthday."

David smirks, "Oh, I'm sure we'll be able to show you a good time, Jay."

Jason struggles to surpress the shiver that runs down his spine at David's words, and the glance that he shares with Michael as he speaks them. "You'd better," he finally responds.

Michael just smiles, and flicks off the tv, setting the remote aside. He shifts around to properly face his roommates, and sighs.

"Sorry," Jason mumbles, glancing over at the tv, but Michael just shrugs.

"Nothing interesting happening, anyway." He looks over at David, "Any idea what you're gonna do?"

"Not a clue." He replies, "I'm trying to think who was popular back then."

Jason thinks for a moment, trying to remember something. After a moment, he speaks. "Didn't the Thriller album come out in '82?"

David just looks at him for a moment, trying to figure out why Jason would even know such a fact. "Actually, yeah. Yeah, I think it did."

"Okay, but I really can't see you singing Michael Jackson," Michael says with a laugh.

"It's all about the arrangements, my Australian friend. You know how many times MJ's been covered?"

"Point taken."

"I think I might actually look into that," David smiles, "Thanks, Jase."

"No problemo."

It is at this moment that the phone on the coffee table rings, startling all three men. Michael is the first to recover, and when he looks at the caller ID a smile slides across his face. "It's Stacey." He takes the phone, and stands, walking out of the room. "Hey, babe."

As soon as Michael has cleared his space on the couch, David moves in to replace him. He sits facing Jason, with his back to the arm rest, and leans in, kissing Jason's forehead, then smiles, and leans back. "So, Michael Jackson, eh?"

Jason shrugs, "A friend of mine is a big fan."

"Right." David grins, "C'mon, he's classic. No need to be ashamed."

"Of course he's classic. I'm just not a huge fan. But I bet you could find a killer arrangement for one of his tracks."

"Bet I could, too," he replies. "I wonder what song I should do.."

"I dunno. I've always kind of liked Billie Jean, and Smooth Criminal. Don't know if they're from that album, though."

"I'll look into that," he says, and Jason smiles. The two fall into silence for a long moment, the quiet buzz of Michael's voice audible in the background. David just kind of watches Jason, who is fidgeting slightly in his seat, his gaze flickering all over the room. He leans back in, and rests his hand on Jason's thigh. He looks up into his blue eyes, locking them into a steady gaze."Y'know.. you really have the most beautiful eyes," David whispers, reaching out to softly touch Jason's face with his other hand. "They were the first thing I really noticed. Their colour, their shape, their depth. God, even your eyelashes are perfect." He gently runs his thumb over Jason's upper lashes, and the boy blinks against his fingertips, and blushes, which makes David's smile soften. "They're so soft, and curly."

"They're so girly", Jason corrects, moving David's hand away.

"They're cute. Like you." He presses his lips gently to Jason's for a moment, making him blush deeper.

"'M not cute."

"You're very cute, Eyelashes," David replies, smiling at his cleverness. Yep, he'll be calling Jason by that name now. Not always, of course, he loves the sound of Jason's name too much to stop using it, but sometimes.

"That's sweet," Jason murmurs, kissing David's cheek, "Cookie."

Damn, he should've seen that one coming. Oh well, he doesn't mind so much when Jason calls him that. He wraps his arms around Jason's waist, and stretches out on the couch, pulling the younger boy down with him.

"Jason?" David asks, unable to stop himself, "What are we?" Alright, so he'd intended for it to be a bit more eloquent than that, had planned to lead up to it, but beggars can't be choosers.

Jason just blinks at him for a moment, trying to understand the question. It takes him a minute, in which David just watches him nervously, but he finally gets it. He blushes, averting his gaze, and tries to sit up, but David keeps him held close. Jason knows he's not good with words, and so it's going to take a moment to figure this out.

David chews nervously on his bottom lip. Why isn't Jason answering? Maybe.. maybe he just didn't understand the question?

"Ja-", he starts, but Jason cuts him off.

"I.. I really ..like you, Dave. And I," he swallows, "I would ..like it if we were ..something.." Oh God, what is he saying? He is making zero sense, and he knows it. "Um.. what I mean is.. well..um..."

David smiles to himself, wondering if Jason could get any cuter. This stuttering, blatantly embarrassed version of Jason is rather adorable. He considers just kissing him again, but he supposes that it's only fair for Jason to get his words out.

"I want to be with you, not just..y'know.. with you." Jason is blushing a very deep pink, and he slowly brings his gaze back to meet David's. "I..that made no sense, did it?"

David just reaches up, gently caressing Jason's cheek. "I think I get your point," he kisses Jason's forehead lightly, "So.. will you be my boyfriend, then?" Again, a bit blunt, but it'll have to do.

Jason's blush deepens even more, "Yes," he whispers softly, before burying his face in David's chest, embarrassed.

David places his hand gently under Jason's chin, tilting his face back up. "Even though I'm no good for you?", he presses, looking deep into Jason's eyes.

"Because you're perfect for me." Jason replies steadily.

David pulls Jason closer towards him, and kisses him deeply, before resting his head against the couch's armrest. "I thought you were supposed to be bad with words," he teases, running his knuckles lightly over Jason's cheek.

"I have my moments." He turns his head slightly, and kisses David's hand, before cuddling into David's chest. He feels David's arms wrap around his back, holding him against him. As Jason is deciding that he could definitely fall back to sleep like this, Michael returns.

"You two should probably start getting ready. I just called Carly, and she said that we're all supposed to meet in the redroom in an hour to go over the plan for this week."

David groans, "Can't you just go and prep us later?" He looks over at the Aussie through half-closed eyes.

"Yeah, that would look great for you guys," Michael smirks, and David sighs.

"Point taken." He slowly releases Jason from his arms, and he slides off of him, and stands, extending his hand to help David up. David takes Jason's offer, and continues to hold Jason's hand, even after he's standing.

"So if we have to be there in an hour, when do we have to leave?", Jason asks, over his shoulder, as David drags him off towards the bedroom.

"You've got half an hour, or so," Michael calls after them.

"'Kay!"

Once inside the bedroom, Jason closes the door, and sits down on the bed. "Wonder what's going on this week.."

David walks over to the dresser, pulling out clean clothes for Jason, and himself. He shrugs, "Too much, if I were to guess." He tosses a fresh pair of boxers, and a pair of jeans to Jason, then lays his own clothes on top of the dresser, before going through another drawer, in search of shirts.

"There's a lot of not singing stuff involved in this," Jason sighs. He catches the clothes that David tosses to him. "Gonna actually dress me, too?", he asks, with a smirk.

"I'm better at the undressing part," he replies, tossing Jason a shirt.

Jason just laughs. "I'll keep that in mind." He sets his clothes down on the bed, and stands, slipping out of his bathrobe, and boxers.

David watches his every movement, drinking in Jason's body greedily. He quite likes the fact that Jason only dresses when he has too, and often regrets seeing him clothed. He thinks he'd be speaking for all of America if he were to say that he'd like it if Jason could perform next to naked every week.

Okay, he probably shouldn't be thinking about that right now. Not when there's no time for anything. Because, Hell, if they had the time right now.. well, he wasn't even gonna finish that train of thought.

He quickly changes his own clothes, his eyes still glued to Jason, who is dressing much slower than himself. Jason turns to face David while he zippers his jeans, and blushes.

"What?", he asks, noticing David's unwavering stare.

"Nothing." David walks over to him, and pulls him into his arms. "You're just.. so beautiful." He kisses Jason's neck, and shoulders. "I'm so drawn to you."

Jason just blushes, and rests his face against David's chest.

"You always get so shy when I tell you that. You don't believe me, do you?", David asks sadly. "You really are beautiful, Jase."

Jason's only response is to tilt his head back enough for his lips to find David's, capturing him in their sweetest kiss to date. He finds himself wondering why he can never come up with such sweet things to say. He finally pulls away, and finishes dressing, then returns to David, taking his hand.

"I'm hungry."

"You haven't eaten yet?", David asks, raising an eyebrow at him.

He shrugs, "Forgot. And I think you did, too."

"You're more perceptive than people give you credit for."

"I just notice stuff." He pulls David towards the door, which he then opens, leading his boyfriend, because he can call him that now, to the kitchen. He releases David's hand, and walks over to the toaster, popping in two slices of bread. "Want any?"

"I'm good."

"You have to eat something." Jason turns around to look at him, leaning against the counter.

David just rolls his eyes, grabbing an apple from the basket on the counter.

Jason sighs, "I suppose that'll do."

David sets the apple back down for a moment, and walks over to Jason, putting his hands on the counter on either side of his boyfriend, pinning him there. "You have no reason to worry, so don't look at me like that," he murmurs against Jason's neck. He darts his tongue out, softly licking at Jason's skin, before biting him gently.

He moves his hand to rest at Jason's back, holding the boy closer to him. He kisses up Jason's neck, slowly, before kissing him roughly, his tongue forcing it's way into the other's mouth, exploring every inch of it, before he returns to kissing Jason's neck.

Jason cranes his neck slightly, giving David more access. He lets out a soft moan as David's kisses reach his adam's apple. David let's his tongue flick across said adam's apple, just to hear Jason moan again, because, damn, that sound turns him on.

Jason jumps about a mile out of his skin when the toast pops behind him, and David laughs.

"Skiddish?", he asks as he steps away from Jason, retrieving his apple.

"No. I just.. forgot that I was making it." He takes a plate out of the cupboard and drops the toast onto it, then takes it over to the table, and sits down.

David just smirks, sitting down across from him. "I'm not that distracting, am I?"

"Yes," he replies simply, starting to nibble at his toast.

"Believe me, I can be much more distracting than that." He bites into his apple, still watching Jason, who is eating fairly slowly.

"You're a tease, you know that, right?"

David swallows his food, then laughs. "I try."

They rest of their meal passes in relative silence, until Michael comes in and tells them to "get a move on" because they only have 10 minutes until they need to leave. Jason heads off to the washroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.

"So, I heard what Jay said last night," Michael comments, before David can follow Jason.

He turns to face the oldest of his roommates, "And?"

"And I was wondering why you didn't respond."

David shrugs, "Wasn't sure if I was ready too." He smiles brightly, "But we're official now; I asked him while you were on the phone."

Michael just smiles. "Congrats, kid," he says, patting David on the back. "You gonna keep it quiet?"

"Probably. I don't know, though."

The Aussie just nods, "Cool." He notices David glancing at the clock, and sighs, nodding towards the hall. "Go on."

David smiles, and turns to go wash up, but Michael speaks again, and he stops to listen to him.

"One more thing," he pauses, as David turns back to look at him, raising an eyebrow questioningly, "Don't hurt him."

Hope you liked it. :D
