i think that by being a teacher you cans till impact the world...maybe not as visibly but you still can...but is up to you. i dont know if you'd nec. be too happy with going to law school and being a lawyer or something along those lines..i think you would get really frustrated...but i dont know.

I just don't know. I think I would be frustrated as a teacher too because I would never make anyone love literature as much as I do.

I think that it would be good to go in to a major of political science, but I am not so sure about law. What exactly would you be looking at in law? I think that you would be wonderful at anything you put your mind to because you are very determined. Writing is my passion. I'm majoring in marketing. Sometimes passion doesnt equal a career for the rest of your life, and sometimes, if you are lucky enough it does. But maybe a change would be good for you. You could even minor in english lit if you want. If you want to make a one on one impact with people, then teaching is the way to go. There have only been a handful of people who have influenced me in a tremendous way, one of which was my senior english teacher. She changed my life dramatically ( ... )

I am torn...like I don't know. I would love to be the kind of teacher that everyone looks back on, and is like..."wow"...but do you think that's the kind of teacher I would be?

The kind of teacher you are depends on the kind of teacher you want to be. Anyone can be the teacher everyone looks back on.

I think you'd be very good at it. But do what you will enjoy. ASU is a very good law school. But I'll support whaterver you do

hey, i know...you can share your love and knowledge of literature at the library! wouldn't it be fun to be that crazy library lady that mumbles to herself all the time about all the books? there's one in every school library! nah, that'd probably get boring after awhile...i mean, you can only talk to so many walls and bookcarts that kids tell their parents and they freak out. going into poly sci would be a cool thing - that's my major and i like it so far. perhaps you'd want to do philosophy...they use literature in some cases and i was told by my prof that lots of philosophy majors do law school, that it's a nice easy transition. go for it!
