I think that it would be good to go in to a major of political science, but I am not so sure about law. What exactly would you be looking at in law? I think that you would be wonderful at anything you put your mind to because you are very determined. Writing is my passion. I'm majoring in marketing. Sometimes passion doesnt equal a career for the rest of your life, and sometimes, if you are lucky enough it does. But maybe a change would be good for you. You could even minor in english lit if you want. If you want to make a one on one impact with people, then teaching is the way to go. There have only been a handful of people who have influenced me in a tremendous way, one of which was my senior english teacher. She changed my life dramatically.
Which is more important - a couple people over your entire career or thousands of people that is in an impersonal way? (If you are a teacher like my english teacher was, you don't just touch one life or make a difference to one student. You help tons of students each year.)
I know it doesn't really help, but another aspect for you. What ever decision you make will be good for you. And if you don't like it you can always go back.
I am torn...like I don't know. I would love to be the kind of teacher that everyone looks back on, and is like..."wow"...but do you think that's the kind of teacher I would be?
