Anyways, I need all of your opinions...
I have been thinking a lot lately...about my major and everything.
I love English Lit, don't get me wrong, it's a passion that I've had since Junior High. It's a passion, not an ambition. I don't think I want to be a teacher.
I want to solve problems, deal with issues, and make an impact. But I don't think that I can do that confined to a classroom teaching the same novels and the same curriculum year after year. I know that I will always love literature, but everyday I am having a harder time formulating that into a career for the rest of my life....
I know I want to make a huge difference in this world, and I think that there are ways I'd rather do that.
Everyone knows how involved I am in current events, and how I take all this social activism stuff very seriously. It's something that drives me...helping other people get the rights entitled to them...
I'm thinking about changing my major to Political Science, and going to Law School. I've always wanted to be involved in Law....Politics...Social Work...Activism.
Do you think that's what I should do, or stay where I am at? be honest....I'm not asking you what you think is the most practical, I'm asking what you think I'd be best at, what you think my heart will go into more....
I love teaching and it's given me the greatest self-fullfillment I've ever know, but I have never tried anything else. .
