Itemized update
1. Nope, no job yet. I had an interview a couple of weeks ago and just got the "position's been filled" e-mail today. Curses.
2. I got a nice food processor for Christmas, and after several attempts I've finally come up with a hummus recipe I'm happy with. Mmmmmm. Perhaps I'll post it here when I've got it handy. Any interest?
3. I've got no money. I dug in my coat pocket for quarters so I could go to the coffee shop today. It was worth it.
4. I'm living at home, and my mom is driving me a little bit insane. Or maybe a lot insane. Yeah, definitely a lot.
5. Lauren, Adam, Jason, Brandon, Sarah, Sarah's boy and I went to Pub 13 for dueling pianos last week. SO awesome. Rather than write up the details, I'll just point you toward Lauren's account of the evening. In short: $3.50 house wine, reluctant stage dancing, Bohemian Rhapsody, MORE COWBELL.
6. I'm taking a research writing class at Eastern to pick up those last three credits for graduation. It feels good to be doing the school thing again. The course pack cost FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS. Grr.
