And Neil Gaiman is really making me want his "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" He posted some Kubert pencils in his latest journal entry. The top image makes a certain shipper in me very very happy. (At least it'll be a nice respite from Morrison's fascination with Talia.) It is funny however to read the comments in the LJ feed from people who are clearly not used to standard comic book artwork. Personally I think she looks lovely, compared to how some artists (*coughs* Balent *coughs*) have drawn her. It just occurred to me. When was the last time Batman was called the Caped Crusader recently? He's been the Dark Knight since the late 80s nearly.
