Wonder Twins activate... and goodbye to a chief of staff....
Incredibly saddened to hear about John Spencer's death. Leo was always one of my favorite West Wing characters. However flawed he was (and god knows he had them in bushels), he always held himself with a certain nobility.
Netflix brought the good crack this time around. I had been watching the old "Challenge of the Super Friends" episodes with the Legion of Doom. Now it was time to shift gears to the Wonder Twins era of Super Friends. What a difference a volume makes. Gone were all the cool super villains and the Hall of Doom. It's really a sad commentary when I find myself missing Luthor's cackle. The episodes bored me to tears honestly. Most of the episodes felt like really bad science fiction with threats from either aliens or radiation or both. My fandoms even collided briefly when in "Battle at the Earth's Core", they discovered the sunken city of Atlantis. I'm still trying to figure out how Atlantis wound up in Pacific near Hawaii... and where Aquaman's home was supposed to be... No commentaries on this volume, just a tribute vid to Zan and Jayna.
