[Things had been looking up for Lottie, once she saw the news from the Mirror and from the headmaster.
New Orleans was still safe, curfew was lifted, and the buddy system was no longer mandatory. For the first time in months, the blonde is allowed to roam the school freely again, and she sure as heck isn't going to let this time go to waste!
Perhaps her real motivation to get out, get some fresh air, and be cheery again had to do with the recent emotions shared between her and her friends. There was indeed a lot of hopelessness, a lot of regret, a lot of moping and negative wishful thinking that had buried the usually bubbly girl into a funk of sorts. Things had gotten better as of late, with Jane starting her own little memorial project and the blonde getting to bond a bit more with Aqua, but the overall feeling from all the recent activity in the school was still rather bitter-tasting.
Luckily, Lottie's not one to let this sort of thing keep her down! She's more than willing to be the smiling face for her friends. But first? She needs to cheer herself up completely.
