001 Video/Action || OTA

*The communicator flickers into view after the message from the mirror and Mickey. It actually looks as though the communicator had been knocked aside out of frustration and clattered to the ground, flickering to life a while after.
The video feed shows Proteus, staring at the window of his room, out into the campus surroundings. His back is hunched, his hands gripping the windowsil with trembling hands. His shoulders look tense, and his head is lowered, craned inward as he lifts a hand to rub at his face.*
Syracuse... It's in that blasted Mist again!
*His mind races at the possible outcome. Would more people be kidnapped by the mist? Would his father be blamed again for what happens? Was his father safe? Would the kingdom of Syracuse be lost all together? It made his chest clench with anxiety. He felt the need to go back to his homeland, to make sure everything was alright... but going back was suicide with the Mist covering his kingdom.
He had a job to do here at the academy: Find a way to stop the Black Mist.*

*he glances over his shoulder and notices the communicator on the ground and steps over to it, noticing how the red light was on. He doesn't say a word as he reaches out to turn it off, ending the feed.*

*Later that evening, one may find Proteus in the botanical gardens, sitting on a bench. He rests his elbows on his knees and cradles his forehead in his hands. What in the world was he supposed to do now? Stay here while his kingdom suffered, or go out and save his kingdom on his own while abandoning the school and it's people? So many conflicting situations.*
