I stopped shaving last Wednesday to see what a full beard would look like. It's not totally grown in yet or anything, but I don't like it. This is an experiment that ends today.
I'm getting very anxious about this grad school thing. Decisions are announced between mid-February and mid-March. In the next few weeks I get to find out if I'm really desirable to schools and if I'll really get to pursue this PhD/career thing. It's kind of nerve wracking.
I got my new desk on Friday and I like it lots. It's quite a bit larger than I really need at the moment but when the grad school thing *does* happen it should be just right. That's the idea anyway.
I had my eye appointment Friday. I'm down to somewhere around 20/1600. That's just sad.
I now live with my brother, I think. I don't see him much with our fairly opposite work schedules, but there are worse things that could happen w/ a roommate :-P His kitty is loving having someone around all the time to pounce on and nibble at. We're working on introducing Ozzy to the discipline thing. Falkor's also doing better than with the last kitten...he learned from Dante that if the new guy thinks he can pick on you that's pretty much never going to change. He readily expresses his displeasure with the constant pouncing. Whether Ozzy will catch on to this and it makes a difference in the long run is a totally different question.
It's 1 pm. I guess I should go be productive now. Bah.
