I just figured out my taxes for 2006. I owe $588 to federal, $133 to the state. Hooray. I'm not sure how this happened, but there's a deduction for "contributions to retirement accounts" that I didn't get to take this year for the first time. With 3 jobs I passed the allowable income threshold for that one. This of course happens the day after I finally bought a new desk. Would you like to know how happy I am right now?
