Probably hot summer weather somehow affected me since I decided to show my home district in Kaunas: rather typical commieblock district from the second part of 1970s and the first part of 1980s :))) Anyway I live here :)

Some time ago I posted a report about Montwill colony in Vilnius - utopian project of the early XXth century - how the model residential quarter should look. Almost in the center of Vilnius near the Lukiškės square exists interesting quarter. With it's dense development and interesting architecture it always attracted my attention. But only recently I get the knowledge that this is one of the few worker's colonies - an Utopia style urbanistic development  - from early XXth century:
