The wall: before and after
This is a short report about the wall :))
In the photo you can see Chemical technologies faculty of Kaunas university of technology. At moment this building is undergoing process of renovation as many public buildings in Lithuania this year. And I want to write short report about the wall of this building :)
The building of Chemical technologies faculty was built in 1968-1970 at the area devoted to the campus o Kaunas university of technology. It is rather typical building of that period.
Early in May the thermoinsulation process has started on and I photographed the wall of it before with the aim to photograph it after :))
The wall is on this appendix of the building - sports hall:
Process of renovation isn't finished yet but some results could be seen.
Early in May the building looked liked this:
Insulation is done using Lithuanian innovation - material "Neoporas" :))) (Traditional polystyrene with specially oriented mirror-like plates to increase reflection of infrared beams) :
