My last report about Torun

In this report I will post my last impressions from Torun. As most of the Old Towns this part of the town in Torun isn't big. Going to the side from Market square Old Town soon ends:

Small symbolic monument of the dog :

I don't had enough time to visit other parts of the town but in other parts of the town you can also find interesting places.

Seccecion style theater building (1903-1904, designed by the famous Vienna architects Fellner and Helmer) with sculptures of Melpomena and Terpsychora in front of the building  (1909, sculptor Ernst Herter):

Side of the theater and other building further:

Some administrative building:

Another administrative building - clearly neo-Gothic building from late XIXth century:

Today this building hosts Hotel Polonia. Of course I don't know it's earlier use:

Going back to the Old town - bank occupies medieval structure:

reconstruction probably:

On one of the numerous backstreets of the Old Town:

Houses at the outskirts of the Old Town:

Decoration on the ruins:

Former Arsenal from XVIIth century with the remnants of St. Nicholaus church built early in the XIVth century:

Former depot built by the Swedes in 1700s:

Ad several final views from the Torun:
