My next walk and report about Arles:

In this report I will continue our walk along the old town Arles. In the old town in various places you can find witnesses of very many periods - the old town Arles is very integral in it's sole and look:

Museum of Arles from the backside:

We found this only when we found the main facade of this building :)

We don't had enough time to visit museum - inside the museum you also can find relics of Roman forum.

Entrance to one Arles old house - witnesses of 1660s:

Then we looked for the Van Gogh espace. And how it looked like. The first view that we saw:

Then we found this entrance:

And inside you can see that around this stone walls there are some green islands:

Arles is in the south of France and differs significantly from the northern France as well as Benelux, Britain or Germany. Here you can find more soft and mild chaos. Ordinary square in the old town:

Some houses:

Myriads of such narrow streets:

In this street we found simple hotel. Pointer showed that below the ground of some building are ruins of Roman period:

Above the ground we saw very typical building which now is used as a hotel:

Coat of arms above the entrance:

Only looking to the yard you may guess that this building isn't ordinary residential house of Arles old town:

Walking along those sidestreets you time - to - time meeting artifacts from various periods: from Roman period through the early middle ages and late middle ages till the New Ages (Roman wall in the photo):

Now we are near Rone river:

Near river you can find the last big relic from Roman period in Arles - the Constantine termes from IVth century (how without baths in Roman town :))

In the neighborhood of thermes one more very old church (if I am remembering well this is St. Cesaer church - established in 540s, modern look got in 12220s- 1270s, closed during French Revolution):

I could guess that this is signs of Great french Revolution on the walls of the church:

Prove that we are really in France :)

Houses in this district:

Since evening was approaching we needed to increase the speed of our walk :)
