Today my last report about Utena. The rest of Utena :)
Last time we stopped near the so-called "red church":. The last not shown element of the church is the belfry:
Then I returned back to the center using backstreets. Here you can find several older buildings which owners could be prescribed to the category of richer people:
One more school:
But the major part of this district looks like in this photo:
Then I returned back to the area of municipality and went back to the shopping area using other streets. Closer to the center streets were clearly reconstructed:
I don't know if I am right but colleagues said in this house lives mayor of Utena:
Bookstore remembering 1980s:
Very typical older provincial house for this region:
This is tax inspection of Utena :)))
Nearby I found rather interesting organization - the hospital of Santa Clara. (The name is interesting not the purpose of the organization):
Then I went back to the central Basanavičiaus street. Now the parts of the street further from the center. Northern part has many new or relatively new commercial buildings. Office of Utena branch of insurance company "Lietuvos draudimas":
Semi-private, semi-state organization engaged in the integration of disabled people:
New chemistry:
Court building (probably 1980s):
One more very typical commercial building:
To the south from the center the most interesting thing is the building of horse post station (1830s) - the remnant of the Petersburg - Warsaw road:
Other buildings are very different. One more school:
One more kindergarten:
Of course there are several shops:
New multiflat residential building:
And one more relict - the remnant of old Utena train station:
And that's all from Utena.
