Just a bit of an update; been trying to go out skiing as often as I can (took a break one/two days this week as my back was not happy with me) and today made it about two-thirds to my parents place. My hope is to eventually get Ri and I there as a team by the time the snow starts to melt at the end of winter ( Read more... )

FINALLY; I've my own vehicle again!

I love it already.

Take it out this afternoon though to run dogs so we'll see how it handles the crate.

Just a huge crap load of stress off my shoulders.

Back from a mini-getaway to Fredericton. Uneventful really, although I went to the Race track - harness racing - to look around. There was a guy there - owner - who had a husky-greyhound cross that was the SWEETEST dog and, amazingly enough, he was loose around the horse stalls. Going to Saint John today. To buy: a couple of tugs and a dog treat bag for training. I won't be getting any collars or leashes until I get my pup.
