(no subject)
Back from a mini-getaway to Fredericton. Uneventful really, although I went to the Race track - harness racing - to look around. There was a guy there - owner - who had a husky-greyhound cross that was the SWEETEST dog and, amazingly enough, he was loose around the horse stalls. The guy was telling me that he couldn't find him one day and when he went looking found him curled up asleep, in a stall, under one of the horses.
Pretty cool.
Got nipped and loved it, scratched a horse and loved it...
God I miss horses.
In any event, it was a good get away and prep for October! Even went driving tonight - and yes, I love my Tucson more as I drove mom's Rav today when she got sleepy and I hate it :| - and I wish I could have kept going.
Three more weeks; just three more weeks...
