a-quilting I will go
Just finished piecing the Yule gift for my mother in law. Well, it's in 3 sections which I'll join together tomorrow, and put borders on it, and sew up the backing piece and bundle the whole thing up for my long-arm quilt lady to quilt for me. Photos probably tomorrow night. I just put in a 12 or 13 hour day at the sewing machine and I'm going to veg in front of the TV now.
By my calculations, I've put in 84 hours working on this quilt so far. I've probably got 3 or 4 hours left before it can go to the quilters, and then I'll have to make binding and bind it (probably another 3 or so hours for that).
