After I started knitting the cat barf sock for my neice, I took out the lovely handspun yarn that my SP sent to me and fondled it for a little bit. I think I MUST make some socks for myself with it, but I'm not sure there's enough to do it with. Maybe If I used both skeins and make the toes/heels/cuffs in contrasting colours. I've been fondling my alpaca cloud as well. I am thinking it might work just fine for Branching Out, and that James' granny might love it, and it would go equally well with her black winter coat and her red winter coat (she is very specific about matching accessories to her 2 coats, you see). And it's just SO SOFT. I'm addicted to KnitPicks now. :)
We haven't heard back yet when the MAPP classes will start, or when we will be assigned a social worker to start our home study. I will definitely have to do some housecleaning/straightening before that. :D The house is pretty -clean- for the most part... we just need to do some things like put books on bookshelves instead of having them strewn randomly on various surfaces. Actually hang some pictures on the walls instead of just leaning them there. Maybe get an entertainment centre or something for the TV to sit on besides a set of plastic utility shelves. Clean out the extra room so that maybe our new child could have a place to sleep. :D Things like that.
Haven't had much tome for WoW this week... people keep showing up on my doorstep expecting to be invited in out of the rain and stuff. :) On the other hand, I'm getting lots of knitting done! I am almost finished the baby blanket for my cow-orkers, and I have the back and front finished of Elizabeth's little sweater. Just need another ball or two of Watercolours to finish it. If I can find some somewhere besides the website. :p
Now that I'm doing some QA things, I'm not actually accomplishing much at work, as my environment is STILL down after 3 hours. Bah.
