Not quite sassy.
Well I cast on for a sock for my daughter tonight. Or possibly my niece. Depending on when I finish the socks and how badly I need Christmas presents. :D I got some Moda Dea "Sassy Stripes" in carious shades of pink and black and white, that profess to be self-striping yarn when knit on size 3 needles.
It lies.
It looks rather like my cat chewed up half a pound of Good 'n' Plentys and barfed them back up on the floor.
On the good side of the day, my Knitpicks order came in finally. Yay for merino to paint! Once I get the technique down, of course. I also got the suggested alpaca for my SP and got her box packed up to send. And some for me too, of course. :D Hey tersa, do you think I could make Branching Out with alpaca cloud? :D It -looks- like I could, but I want a professional opinion. ;)
