Beth and I both had a three-day weekend for Veterans' Day, even though neither of us are veterans. I probably say that every year. Really, the holiday schedule where I work is a bit out of balance, as I suppose are most of them, because so many holidays are bunched up in November. It was my anniversary last week. We actually got married on the 29th, so we'll usually celebrate on either the 28th or the 1st; but we didn't really do anything this year. Beth and I went to the Mercury Lounge last night to see Rasputina. I'd never been there before. There are a few bands I like that used to play there, but it's a small venue and they outgrew it before I saw them live.
